Our Sales Policy
Our pricing is based on the quality of the goats produced, quality of pedigree, color and pattern and horned status (ie: disbudded vs polled). Our American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) registered does/doelings, buck/bucklings start at $400. Our wethers (castrated males) are $125.00. Our goat kids will come registered through the ADGA or will come with ADGA registration paperwork.
Please contact us if you would like to be added to our waiting list for a specific goat kid(s) or a goat kid(s) from a specific breeding. Preference is given to our repeat customers that have been easy to work with.
If you are on our waiting list and we contact you by the preferred method of your choice, you have 48 hours to respond. If we do not hear back from you, we will move on to the next person.
A half down non refundable deposit is required to hold any goat until the scheduled pick up date. Deposits can be made in cash or through Cash App, PayPal or Venmo. Cash only payments are required at pick up unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. All deposits are non refundable unless the goat becomes ill or dies before the full purchase. If the buyer decided to cancel the sale or fails to pick up the goat(s) their deposit will not be refunded. Please remember no goat will be held unless a deposit made.
Goats are herd animals. We will only sell goats in pairs unless the buyer currently owns other goats. We have learned from experience that doelings tend to transition better in pairs. We believe that intact males and females should not cohabit unless for breeding purposes.
We have the right to retain any of our goat kids. We reserve the right to refuse any sale or acceptance of any reservation request/deposit at any time for any reason.
Our goat kids are dam raised, but occasionally we will have bottle raised kids available. Dam raised kids learn important skills that only other goats can teach them. Goat kids are available to their new homes upon weaning, usually between 10-12 weeks of age. We prefer wethers to be banded no earlier than weeks 10 weeks old. Our goat kids are subject to constant human interaction. We try our best to raise friendly goats.
All our goat kids are disbudded if they are not born polled. If you are wanting a goat kid to remain "horned", you must make your request prior to birth. The entire purchase amount must be paid in full at the time of the non refundable deposit.
Once a goat(s) leaves our farm, we can not be held responsible for what happens out of our care. The buyer is responsible for properly caring for their goat(s). The stress of weaning, transport, moving to a new farm, etc can be difficult on an animal.
All transportation arrangements and any certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI) are the buyers responsibility.
Our herd (ages 11 months and up) was tested negative for CAE and Johnes Disease on January 16, 2024. We encourage goat buyers and breeders to test, cull, and keep a disease free farm at all times to prevent the spread of contagious and degenerative diseases.
